Organizations:

  • Altar Flower Guild
Prepares flower arrangements for Sunday services, weddings, funerals and other services.

  • Altar Guild
The Altar Guild is the Rector's Guild. The primary purpose of the Altar Guild is to assist the Rector and other members of the clergy in preparing for worship services. The primary worship service at All Saints' is the Eucharist, which is celebrated daily, four times on Sunday, and on Holy Days.

Altar Guild members prepare for all of these services as well as for weddings and funerals.

The Altar Guild cares for the vestments, linens, and sacred vessels, keeping them clean and in readiness to be used, as well as keeping the Sacristies and making sure all liturgical supplies are on hand as needed.

It is open to any member of the parish who would like to join us in this ministry. All members will be assigned to a team (there are four, one for each week in the month) which meet on its appointed Saturday morning to prepare for Sunday services.

In addition, members are expected to assist either before of after a Sunday service, and, if possible, at a service during the week. Members who cannot help out on weekdays are still needed on weekends. New members will be given on-the-job training within the teams and will be assigned to work with a seasoned member for a time until they can work on their own. Our parish is growing, and so is our need for volunteers.

    Come join us!
