Lay Liturgical & Lay Pastoral Opportunities:
- Acolytes
Adults and young people who serve at the altar for Eucharists and special occasions, such as weddings an funerals.
- Order of St. Vincent
Emphasizes a world-wide fellowship of Lay Ministers within the Catholic Communions of the Church.
For any lay communicant who is nine years of age or older and serving as an acolyte.
- Choirs
Children's, Family, Adult and Bell Choirs enhance worship through supporting congregational singing and anthems, including special occasions of Evensong, concerts, weddings and funerals.
- Greeters
Greet communicants and visitors before the Sunday services.
- Docents/Tour Guides
Greet visitors following Sunday morning services and provide tours of the parish facilities, explaining various aspects of All Saints'.
- Lectors, Lay Readers and Lay Eucharistic Ministers
- The Ministry of Lector
The function of a Lector is to read lessons in the Church's liturgy as appointed to do so by the celebrant or the officiant.
The common practice at All Saints' Church is for the lector not to vest but to wear "street clothes,"
sit in the nave, and walk to the lectern to read the assigned lesson, and to return to the nave.

- The Ministry of Lay Reader
The function of the Lay Reader is licensed by the Diocese to officiate in certain capacities, as outlined in the Book of Common Prayer,
when ordained clergy are not available. At All Saints' Church the lay reader conducts the Daily Office of Evening Prayer.

- The Ministry of Lay Eucharistic Minister
The function of the Lay Eucharistic Minister is a chalice bearer who is licensed by the Diocese to administer the chalice
at services where there are not a sufficient number of priests and deacons present to do so.

- Oblationers
Present bread and wine to the altar from the back of the church.
- Stephen Ministers
Members of the parish who have been trained to give care to others going through times of stress, confusion and loss.

- Telephone Volunteers
Manning the telephone during lunch hours and/or when needed.
- Ushers
Greet people, distribute service leaflets, collect tithes and offerings, usher communicants to the altar rail and perform other services as needed.
