All Saints’ Episcopal Church Outreach and Mission Commission
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you
will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to
the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8
All Saints’ witnesses to our Risen Lord along an everwidening arc extending from our own walls at Crestline and Penticost; to Amazing Grace Children’s Home, located some 9,000 miles away in western Kenya; to yet more remote corners of the globe through the parish’s support for Episcopal Relief and Development – the international outreach arm of The Episcopal Church.
Along the way All Saints’ own missions and ministries, and those with which it affiliates, reach out to homes, schools, and workplaces in the immediate vicinity of the church (the “Jerusalem Zone”); to more distant (or less familiar) areas of Fort Worth, North Texas, and the nation (the “Judea/Samaria Zone”); and to other nations and/or cultures (the “ends of the earth”).
Find out more about specific outreach ministries by visiting each link below: Jerusalem – Ministries that reach out to
homes, schools, and workplaces in All Saints’ immediate vicinity.
Judea/Samaria – Ministries that focus on more distant (or less
familiar) areas of the city and/or region.
Ends of the Earth – Ministries directed toward other
nations and cultures. When we have mission teams in the field, this is the place to look for daily reports from our
missions to Kenya and the Holy Cross Anglican School in San Pedro, Belize.
These zones provide an administrative and organizational structure
for the ministries of the OMC. There is some functional crossover
among them.
